Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command, along with the Marine Area Command, Toll rescue and surf lifesavers, attended yesterday and conducted an extensive search of the water, but police say it had to be suspended due to poor lighting and rough conditions.They added that while inquiries are in their infancy, it is believed the man is a tourist aged in his early 20s.The search has resumed today with assistance from the Marine Area Command and now, please keep your eyes peeled in the water and shorelines for the missing tourist.
