The objective of our program is to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to complete the Traineeship, with a view to establishing a career in Early Childhood Education and Care. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Traineeship program requires the successful applicants to enter a Training Contract for up to 18 months. As part of their individual Training Plans Trainees are required to undertake and complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through the Registered Training Organisation (RTO). During your Traineeship you will have the opportunity to gain theoretical and practical experience whilst working at a Child Care Centre. A wide range of stimulating in-services are offered and trainees are provided with the opportunity to network with staff from other Council Centres. Successful candidates will need to be available for rostered shifts between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. We have positions available in multiple locations across the Central Coast. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community. Minimum education requirement - Year 10 School Certificate or RoSA (Record of School Achievement) or equivalent leaving certificate. Position Description SALARY: A commencing salary range of $679.44 to $794.96 per week ($35,426 to $41,449 per annum) plus 11% Superannuation will apply, dependent upon age and school qualifications.
