We currently have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join Pickles UX team as a User/UX Researcher to augment our capabilities. The successful candidate will be working within the User Experience team and will have a chance to develop his/her career in the fields of research and design. The successful candidate will be a key contributor for the growth of our product portfolio which contains innovative technology ranging from our website all the way to our bespoke enterprise applications and systems, including mobile apps.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to develop skills across various research methods. This is truly a Research opportunity with UI resources within the direct team and serviced teams. Your work focus will include but not be limited to ethnography, surveys, interviews, usability testing, and A/B (multi-variate) testing.
ABOUT THE ROLE
· Collaborate with direct team members and stakeholders to understand research needs.
· Identify the gaps in understanding of user needs and goals.
· Choosing the right research methods and define question sets for exploration.
· Initiate research projects, manage their timelines, and participant recruitment.
· Work closely with the Head of UX and other stakeholders in the Innovation and CX space to develop and enrich personas based on data gathered.
· Presenting your findings to internal team members and other stakeholders.
· Be open to constructive feedback to align users’ needs and goals to business objectives.
· Actively evaluate and continuously improve the approach, toolset, and delivery of insights.
· Conduct regular Usability studies/Testing sessions and A/B tests aligned with Agile development.
ABOUT YOU
· 3+ years of UX research experience
· Demonstrated ability in supporting and delivering human-centred design research activities, including gathering and synthesising qualitative and quantitative research data through applying relevant methodologies.
· Demonstrated ability in planning and supporting facilitation of research activities, such as semi-structured interviews, workshops, and multi-variate tests.
· A genuine passion and interest in understanding the human experience and developing approaches that seek to explore and understand behavioural and environmental drivers.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey research activities and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to plan and establish measurement and evaluation activities using qualitative and quantitative methods including but not limited to A/B and Multi-variate testing.
· Qualifications in a social science discipline (e.g. Anthropology, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, History etc.) are welcome.
