Job Description
You will be joining a team of 2 vets and 5 nurses. One of our vets has a special interest in behaviour, the whole team enjoys surgery and one of our nurses has a keen interest in cytology. Your special interests will also be supported and encouraged.
This role will suit a vet who enjoys a supportive work environment - we have some very skilled staff and nurses are utilized and empowered. If you share the same values and commitment to patient care you will fit right in.
The practice is co-located with Petbarn which generates a great cross referral of clients. We have all the usual equipment and facilities.
What you’ll be doing each day
- Leading a team of passionate Vets and Vet Nurses
- A permanent full-time role with variety
- Delivering personalised, professional and dedicated care to our patients and owners
- Handling and treating all animals
- Regular consults and routine surgery
- Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment
- Providing follow-up care and education of our pet owners
- Confidently working as a sole practitioner in the clinic when required
Qualifications
- A Veterinary qualification recognised in Australia
- Registration or eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to gold standards of care
