Sutcliffe Meats butchery shop has over 50 years of experience within the meat industry. They source only the freshest, finest quality meat products that support our farmers and satisfy their customers. Providing a wide range of affordable and fresh meats such as chicken, beef, lamb, pork, turkey and game.
What's involved:
As the Apprentice Butcher, you will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills within the Butchery industry assisting in the below tasks, but not limited to:
- Work closely with the team to learn all aspects of a becoming a successful butcher.
- Provide exceptional service to our valued customers.
- Ensuring that meat recipes are followed properly during preparation.
- Cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size.
- Assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming or sausage forming machines.
To suit this role you will be eager, reliable and have a passion for all things meat! You will take pride in your presentation, have good communication skills and seek out opportunities to learn in your everyday duties.

In order to be eligible for an Apprenticeship in NSW you must be either an:
- Australian Citizenship
- Australian Permanent Residency
- New Zealand Passport Holder residing in Australia for more than six months.
