In the role of Correspondence and Records Coordinator you will facilitate high-level divisional correspondence in conjunction with the Senior Correspondence Advisor and the broader correspondence team. You will also assist with divisional information and records management activities. Some of your responsibilities will include: • Coordinate, compile, edit and process the division's executive and ministerial correspondence, briefing notes, parliamentary requests and other correspondence in a timely and effective manner. • Prioritise incoming documents and relay promptly to divisional action officers for the preparation of draft replies in accordance with corporate standards and protocols. Information management and recordkeeping: • Carry out administrative tasks in accordance with divisional, departmental or government procedures, policies, legislation, standards and directives. • Liaise, consult and maintain effective relationships with team members, and internal and external clients. • Deliver tasks and activities individually or as a team member, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines within quality and time constraints. To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following: • Understand correspondence and record keeping processes and relevant systems is highly regarded. • Ability to understand and adhere too procedures, policies, legislation, standard and directives. • Ability to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines in a timely manner. • Maintain effective relationships with team members, and internal and external clients.
