About this team The Brand Marketing & Community team is a core regional function responsible for leading the integrated, cross-functional marketing process with the goal of increasing the awareness, preference and demand for our brand and products in Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The Director, Brand role will be will be dedicated to the long-term development and growth of lululemon as a brand across the AU/NZ region. The Director role will report directly to the Vice President of Brand & Community, Asia Pacific.
A day in the life: Brand & Product Campaign Development
Plan & manage year-round go-to-market calendar to deliver incredible brand & product stories that ladder up to our APAC strategic priorities, including Australia and New Zealand. Oversee all brand operations and brand management functions. Collaborate with creative, social media, digital marketing, community and PR teams to orchestrate 360 campaigns across the region Translate large scale global brand strategies, positioning and guest insights into locally relevant storytelling that leads to inspirational concepts and tactics, deliver into visual merchandising, marketing, business and/or brand objectives Strategic Planning & Execution Work with global and regional brand strategy team to drive APAC wide strategy that is consistent with men/women brand positioning with specific emphasis in driving overall brand awareness growth, first time guest acquisition and accelerate underpenetrated categories Partner with regional and local B&C managers to ensure that the brand comes to live through powerful relationships in the community with engaging stories that speak to our product and brand culture in a locally relevant and authentic way Lead the strategic planning process enabling teams to develop 3-5yr brand plans and annual operating plan, inclusive of budget allocation and prioritization Go to Market Integration & Performance Metrics Manage large scale global & regional campaigns with clear messaging that drive new guest acquisition and trial Lead the elevation and efficiency of the go-to-market process ensuring the APAC and local leadership and respective teams understand the key dates and quality of deliverables Drive performance mindset when it comes to reporting, recapping and learning of campaigns. Empower teams with the tools to provide weekly , monthly, quarterly reporting Qualifications: University degree in business, marketing or communications 15 years in all functions of marketing (Media, PR, Brand, Social Media, Digital) Experience in managing regional / multi-market teams in a fast-paced environment Experience in leading cross-cultural campaigns, knowledge in distilling guest insight and 360 campaign orchestration Demonstrated results in taking consumer and market insights into strategy and campaign concept development Must haves: Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.
