The UGL New Energy Team is currently seeking an Experienced Electrical Supervisor to work on our existing Battery Storage System (BESS) Project located in Collie Western Australia (WA).
This is a site-based position on a FIFO/DIDO roster About the role The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for providing frontline work management, personnel management, and supervision for electrical works. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality project services to the client and providing supervision and coordination as required.
Your responsibilities: Coordination and supervision of daily construction activities, including but not limited to Installation and connection of earth grids. Installation of HV plant and switchgear, transportable buildings and associated services, Installation, and termination of cables Construction testing Specific site construction activities, including demolition works, working at heights, working in confined spaces, and working in proximity to exposed live parts; and working in operational substations including on in-service cables, in service protection and control panels, and working in proximity to exposed live parts. Monitor contract terms and conditions and ensure adherence to these. Monitor and manage UGL employees and subcontractors to ensure professional standards are maintained. Undertake supervision of Trade staff, ensuring they are adhering to UGL's procedures. Experience/Skills required: Electrical Trade Qualification Experience in renewable/utility EPCM projects is essential. A team player, who can work autonomously and be trusted to deliver. Proven leadership experience with the ability to supervise and manage various work crews simultaneously. Ability to deliver clear instructions and motivate the team. Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site. Please note that relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
