Location negotiable across NSW with main offices in Newcastle, Parramatta, Coffs Harbour, Queanbeyan, Wollongong, Orange, and Bathurst
TRP from $292k to $328k including superannuation, commensurate with experience
Valuation NSW (VNSW) is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization dedicated to delivering excellence in property valuation and assessment across NSW. We are currently seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our leadership team as the Executive Director, Customer and Business Operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of overseeing and driving technological transformations for improved efficiencies with proven success in setting and achieving targets for streamlined business processes. You will also have a strong understanding of commercial valuation functions and a background in delivering high-quality customer service.
It is essential that you have strong political acumen with the ability to navigate complex and contentious environments, particularly in relation to complex special valuation projects. You will also need to possess excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills as you will be required to monitor performance expectations, service delivery standards, and contracts.
Additionally, you will demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on driving and fostering a team culture that embraces change, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Valuation NSW provides services to:
Defining and setting the standards and policies for the land valuation system for rating and taxing purposes along with the determination of compensation through the compulsory acquisition process to ensure integrity within the NSW Government is upheld.
Making valuations as well as, monitoring, quality assurance, and governance pertaining to the quality of the valuations undertaken relevant to both the Valuation of Land Act 1916 and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991.
Providing other specialized valuation activities, services, and determinations as/when required for other cluster or statewide government partners; and
Providing professional leadership and stewardship to the valuation industry.
