Reporting to the CEO, as part of the senior leadership team, this newly created position will lead the development and execution of comprehensive environmental and sustainability strategies to ensure compliance, enhance sustainability performance, and drive positive impact across all CMG sites nationally. You will thrive on keeping abreast of the latest sustainability trends and best practices and maintaining awareness of new legislation and regulations related to sustainability. The Group Manager of Sustainability is responsible for aligning operations with legal requirements, including regulations relating to environment, animal welfare, biosecurity, and modern slavery. Additionally, you will champion efforts to achieve objectives outlined in the UN Sustainable Development Goals, while ensuring social and governance compliance mandated by SEDEX and other ESG frameworks throughout CMG's supply chain. To thrive in this leadership role, you will have previous experience influencing sustainability strategy across operations. A background in driving process improvement within food manufacturing, agriculture and/or processing are all of interest. Your results orientated mindset, exceptional stakeholder management and experience working in a regulated environment is essential for success.
