The Company Our client is a privately-owned NZ company with significant assets in NZ. Since 1996 they have been committed to Australian agriculture, investing in irrigated & dryland cropping enterprises in some of the most productive land in NSW’s northern wheatbelt of rich black soil plains. Well regarded in the local area and actively at the forefront of technology, they work closely with supplier companies involved in testing new varieties, and cropping systems.
The Role An additional person is required to help the farm team across the irrigated properties. Reporting to and working closely with the Farm Manager, the practical role will conduct farming operations across the various properties. Activities include: tractor operations, staff supervision, mechanical repairs, record keeping and WH&S compliance.
The Person To be successful in these roles you will have:
at least 2 years farming experience in either irrigated or dryland cropping ability to lead staff driver’s license farm machinery experience and mechanical / maintenance skills By nature you will be a self starter, interested and motivated to work hard. You will be inducted and trained in WHS on machinery and chemical hazard management.
