The Opportunity:

This role acts as a Business Partner providing commercial support in all areas.

  • Provides analytical support for Business members to ensure they have adequate knowledge of financial performance, reporting, and measurement to make sound business decisions.
  • Provide commercial rigor to commercial decisions undertaken by the business ensuring adherence to strategic objectives
  • Responsibility of the full P&L, monthly margin analysis and reviews with the Business
  • Ensures the integrity of the financial data and understanding the real economic activity
  • Improve the financial performance of the area
  • Support the controlling team in Business and Finance transversal improvement projects
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Own the process
  • Audit & Compliance – Coordinate Audit reviews
  • Focus on Revenues, Discounts, Warranty/Policy, Margin, SG&A, Inventory
  • Increase the awareness of the financial data and priorities inside the sales team
  • Link the financial performance to operational KPI’s (market share, product mix, etc)
  • Report the financials / make analyses in a way to support managerial decisions
  • Forecast / measure the impact of proposed actions / optimize the use of resources
  • Propose some corrective / improvement actions
  • The requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Accounting
  • 3 years essential experience and skills in a similar role
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.
  • Strong commitment to meeting tight deadlines, under certain level of stress, self-motivated and flexibility to work after-hours when necessary.
  • Ability to successfully manage ambiguity and deliver on assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to take on related additional tasks and expand upon current responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Excellent Excel financial modeling and skills.
  • Forecasting and budgeting skills.
  • Cross-functional, multi-level collaboration skills
