About Meadowbank Grove Care Community (114 bed care home):

Our brand new home Meadowbank Grove, in West Ryde, Sydney has opened with 114 beds. It is conveniently located in a quiet residential area of West Ryde, close to Meadowbank Station, Ferry Wharf, Top Ryde Shopping Centre, cafes, and restaurants and overlooking the beautiful Meadowbank Park and Parramatta River. 

About the role:

As this is a newly built home with the need for new team members, there will be a variety of Full Time, Part Time and Casual Food Services Officer shifts available.

Our Food Services Officers will be working in our kitchen department and assisting the Head Chef, Demi Chef and Sous Chef with preparing and delivering nutritional meals to our residents. 

The successful candidates will possess:

  • Previous experience in a commercial or busy kitchen role
  • A Certificate II in Hospitality or Certificate in Food Safety would be highly regarded
  • Empathy with the needs of the frail aged (dementia care included)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
