A well-established GPA accredited practice that has been operating in the area for over 40 years. It is a mixed billing practice dedicated to providing personalised, professional, and quality healthcare across a wide range of medical services. We are a medium sized team of health professionals, with 7 doctors, 4 nurses, 4 receptionists and experienced practice manager. We also have visiting allied health professionals who provide services from our rooms, including podiatry and diabetic education. We aim to provide comprehensive coordinated healthcare services that promote health and wellbeing, as well as managing illness.
With fully computerised patient/clinical management system and modern equipment and facilities, including a fully equipped 3-bed treatment room with a separate minor procedure room plus a travel clinic room, our current premises is only 2 ½ years old! Located in Toowoomba, also known as the Garden City, our practice boasts a fabulous working environment, combined with knowledgeable friendly, positive and very supportive staff. Comprehensive nursing staff is also on hand to assist with procedures and chronic disease management planning.
We are now currently seeking a GP to replace an outgoing GP. You will have the opportunity to take on some of the existing patient base, whilst also having the scope to build your own patient base and promote yourself within the practice and community.
About the role
As a General Practitioner with the team, you will deliver high-quality patient-centred and primary-focused care to our patients in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Our Medical Centre has a varied scope of practice, including family medicine, sports medicine, occupational health, work cover and travel medicine. There is also the opportunity to gain approval by the St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital to provide inpatient services, if desired.
Skills & experience
General AHPRA registration as an General Practitioner
