Microsoft is looking to expand our sales team by adding an experienced Business Applications Sales Executive focused on the Energy OR Telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will be a senior sales executive with 7-10 years of value and outcome-based sales experience who possesses excellent organizational, communication and selling skills. Responsibilities will include managing, leading and closing strategic Microsoft opportunities in Asia. The Business Applications Sales Executive will also engage with complementary Microsoft Account teams across solution areas to identify, drive and unlock value within our largest customers.


As a Business Applications Industry Senior Sales Executive – you will be a strongly industry-aligned and outcome-driven business process transformation enabler within the Microsoft Business Applications Global Sales organization, working with our most important Customers across the Energy OR Telecommunication industries in Asia, with the objective to help your Customers with their end-to-end business transformation needs by envisioning solutions and mapping capabilities with associated business value to business decision maker persona pains/needs. You will execute with excellence the entire sales process by owning and orchestrating an articulated and multi-stakeholder pursuit team of industry and technically intense experts to provide Customers with solutions aligned to their end-to-end business transformation needs using Microsoft Business Applications’ portfolio of offerings. You will use the Microsoft Catalyst sales methodology to enable customers’ digital transformation journey focusing on the business value and outcomes from Microsoft Business Applications solutions. The ideal candidate would be a deep business process / industry expert with real hands-on experience and a transformational mindset, able to pull the strings of global and complex deals.

He/she must also engage with partners in the strategy, solution, proof and closing stages of a given sales cycle. Candidates with the ability to succeed in this role will display the following attributes: Industry experience, excellent sales, communication, negotiation, problem solving and organizational skills; understanding of Microsoft’s strategic direction; ability to develop successful compete strategies, deliver effective presentations; ability to engage with a wide range of audiences from end user to senior management, and a thorough understanding of a solution selling sales cycle.



+ Experience selling CRM/ERP/Low code solution into Energy sector: Oil & Gas, Utilities, or into the Telecommunications sector.

+ 7+ years of experience

+ Business application sales (Experience in selling end to end solution from lead to cash a plus)

+ Selling software-as-a-service or cloud-based business applications to enterprise customers

+ Identifying unique and complex business challenges and solutions

+ Driving and leading sales processes across account planning, opportunity planning, deal negotiation, customer decision frameworks, evaluation plans and engaging in sophisticated business case discussions.

+ Carrying and exceeding sales quotas by driving and closing enterprise opportunities.

+ Demonstrated passion and commitment for customer success.

+ Sales Experience with Oracle, SAP, SalesForce or other enterprise Platforms

**Additional Experience:**

+ Bachelor’s degree required – MBA preferred

+ Very strong customer relationship and presentation skills including experience in C-level presentations, facilitating envisioning workshops and engaging in business value discussions.

+ Ability to influence and coach other selling professionals and account teams; working through others to drive success.

+ Strong analytical skills to support business decisions and priorities.

+ Self-starter with strong time management skills – able to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.

+ Experience with Dynamics 365 solutions is a plus.

+ Experience working within the Partner Ecosystem for Dynamics is a plus

+ Design Thinking and Solution Envisioning is a plus
