The portfolio will involve transformational work including activities around stakeholder engagement with both new and existing as well as project management/sourcing, risk management and providing recommendations per NSW Government framework and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of a complex procurement/sourcing project to deliver value for money outcomes
  • Provide end to end procurement services including but not limited to developing procurement strategies and RFx documentation, conducting RFx evaluation, negotiating and drafting/issuing contracts and GIPA notices
  • Provide a high level of professional practice that delivers effective and efficient procurement
  • Conduct contract negotiations and prepare documentation for final consolidation and award.
  • Provide support to pricing reviews and contract re-negotiation, manage performance reviews, resolving supplier performance matters and incidents
  • Provide strategies for dealing with contractual issues and variations as they are raised, and consult with the business
  • Reporting directly to the Category Director and working closely with the Information Technology Directorate.
  • 3 + years experience in ICT Procurement.
  • Proven record of delivering technology change through ICT procurement and sourcing of a major program of work/high value, complex contracts
  • Experience in working with a technology team and senior management
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to develop and maintain professional and respected working relationships with other team members, clients, management and vendors.
