What you’ll be doing
The position of Physiotherapist is part of a community-based multidisciplinary allied health team. The Community Allied Health (CAH) team provides service to a broad and diverse range of clients, including (but not limited to) those with neurological conditions, age related functional difficulties, progressive conditions and chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Respiratory, Heart Failure and Cardiac diseases.
The role of the Physiotherapist, is to deliver high quality, evidence-led assessments and interventions as part of the allied health team. The physiotherapy team provides the assessment and interventions as part of group education programs at community centres as well as home visits. This position is required to work collaboratively with the other physiotherapists within the team to ensure appropriate and timely service provision across all geographical sites and services, including the supervision of allied health assistants. This role also includes occasional coverage of Saturday roster and may include rotations to the inpatient physiotherapy department (by negotiation).
The clinical duties are performed across multiple sites within CCLHD.
